Ran smiled down at the sleeping boy and quietly removed his glasses. She laid a soft kiss on his cheek and gently tucked him before heading to the door.
Holding her finger above the light switch, Ran whispered, “Night, Conan”. She applied weight to her finger and with a click- the lights blinked out. --- This was from Chapter Seven: Long Long Noses of a Detective Conan fanfiction called Vindicated by Ooshii Kurai. It starts out light and happy but dives down into angst with each chapter. It's one of my favs, even though it isn't done yet. |
